Grindelwald is easily reached by train via Interlaken Ost. Direct connections from major Swiss cities make travelling to the Bernese Oberland convenient and comfortable.

The final journey from Interlaken Ost to Grindelwald takes around 35 minutes, with the railway climbing through the spectacular Alpine landscape of the Jungfrau Region.

Grindelwald railway station is located close to the centro del paese, making it easy to continue on foot, by local bus or by mountain railway.

TRENO

Grindelwald is easily reached by car from Interlaken and other Swiss cities via the well-connected Swiss road network.

From Interlaken, the road follows the Grindelwald valley into the Bernese Alps, providing access to the village and surrounding mountain destinations. During winter, snow and icy conditions are possible, so suitable winter equipment is recommended.

Visitors arriving by car should use the designated parking facilities in and around Grindelwald. During busy periods, checking parking options in advance is recommended.

AUTO

Grindelwald has excellent public transport connections, with direct trains from Interlaken Ost and convenient connections to destinations throughout the Jungfrau Region.
