From Täsch, regular shuttle trains run to Zermatt, with the journey taking only around 12 minutes. Taxis and private transfers are also available, while the railway station in Täsch provides a convenient connection directly into the heart of Zermatt.

As Zermatt is car-free, private vehicles cannot continue into the village. Visitors arriving by car should use the parking facilities in Täsch and continue by train or authorised electric taxi. During busy summer and winter periods, booking parking in Täsch in advance is recommended.

Zermatt has excellent public transport connections, making it easy to explore the village and surrounding mountain region without a car. Regular trains connect Zermatt with Täsch and Visp, where travellers can connect to destinations across the Valais and the wider Swiss railway network.
