The Kriens – Fräkmüntegg Trail is one of the most enjoyable forest hikes on Mount Pilatus. Starting in the village of Kriens, the trail climbs steadily through peaceful woodland to Fräkmüntegg, where hikers are rewarded with beautiful mountain scenery and family-friendly attractions.

The route follows well-marked paths through shaded forests, passing traditional alpine landscapes and several viewpoints along the way. It is an excellent option for visitors who want to experience the lower slopes of Mount Pilatus at a relaxed pace.
